This is the work in progress demo of the track that became ANYTHING CAN BE.
It took a while from the very basic chord progressions to rendering thos into a progressive song. Lots of different arrangement ideas, and sounds. It started out totally random but eventually I put some structure into it so that at some point I can add a vocal arrangement - on the downtempo album I am planning.
This is a very simplified version compared to what it became - it's also not fully mixed but you can see the ideas in this that's about four weeks into the songwriting process for this one, I like to write several ideas in a week, then thrash them all out over time allowing ideas to develop - some good - some not so good :)
I once liked this one but am not sure now - I think it really needs some main vocals so is a perfect choice for collaboration.
Any Vocalists out there that wants to feature on the album, please let me know via the Bandcamp CONTACT Cansalsa link.
I recently found this Australian Latin band that I truly admire being from a non-latin culture myself that have put their passion, heart & soul into creating their own interpretation of Latin music. Cansalsa
A hidden gem from one of my all time favourite Latin artists that's almost totally responsible for my love of Jazz, Latin and quite possibly my love of music in general from an early age in the 70's. Cansalsa
